Problem: Used car dealers tend to stick these giant chrome turds on your trunk. The more rural the dealer, the bigger the turd.
Solution: Remove giant chrome turd with a flat head screwdriver. Peel off big chunk of paint in the process. Take to Maaco and get it repainted for $200. Complain to Maaco about how the color doesn’t quite match. Gently weep in a dark room.
That is exactly what happened to me. Except for the crying. I just punched a hole in the wall.
